Crowdfunding

In May, we started crowdfunding our startup expenses. Your support helps bring a unique space for children and families to the Greater Dayton Area! Crowdfunding ends in 6 days, so please please please share and consider contributing! So far we've raised about $200, but need much more support to reach our goals. To help donate, you can go to https://igg.me/at/Playground42/x/37588552#/

June Donor of the Month

Thank you, Jessica S. for your very generous donation!

Other noteworthy donations: Erika P., Lauren W., Jen F., Annika C.

Thank you!

Pop-Ups!

While we are searching for a venue, we will be bookable for large community events for free (terms and conditions may apply), and it will be free to have your kids come out and test out some of our toys & play furniture! We do need little quality assurance checkers after all! Free pop-ups may go away after this fall, so come enjoy one of our July events while they're free! Events can be found at Playground42.com/events

We had two pop-ups in the month of June. Our first was at the first-ever Kettering Pride! Thank you Kettering Ohio Pride Coalition for having us! https://ketteringohiopridecoalition.org/

Our second pop-up was with the Growmunity, which was an amazing opportunity. We hope to work with them again in October. Stay tuned for updates around this event, because it is going to be even bigger and better! https://thegrowmunity.com/

Venue Updates

We have a venue lined up. We were aiming for a 1 July move-in and then would start renovations, but are still working out some details with the lease. We are still hoping to move in within July, but ultimately keep our social media the most updated on progress.

The Goal is to open in October!

Sponsors (Not in Newsletter):

We have posted this on our social media, so thought we would include it here too even though it didn't make the newsletter. Playground42 is seeking sponsors. We are especially interested in family-friendly, mom-owned, and local businesses to sponsor us, but are open to anyone that is interested!

You can sponsor a specific piece of play furniture, up to an entire room or section of the playground. This includes areas such as the playground itself, the nursing area, the co-working section, infant area, and more.

Sponsorships will receive signage recognition for the life of the equipment/playground to showcase your support. We have two specific items we are interested in (linked below). Interested parties can email Playground42LLC@outlook.com

Please be sure to share our sponsorship and/or donation information with anybody that might be interested! Thanks for a great month of so much love and support. I can't wait to see what July brings!

Best,

Kayla
